Gemini instratech introduces indoor epoxy resin cast current transformers up to 33 kv. The main insulation of this voltage transformer is non-aging epoxy resin, which is a proven insulating material since last several years. The current transformer is encapsulated in the resin in a single process that is done under controlled temperature and vacuum. The transformer could be tailor made to suite customer requirements. It requires practically no maintenance. Primary winding is wound in double disc fashion with rectangular copper strip conductors having multiple-paper covering as insulation. This ensures high mechanical strength against forces developed during dynamic currents. Transformer is designed and processed to obtain partial discharge free performance. Current transformer can be designed to international standards iec, bs, ansi [ieee] etc.
